Angels of love & light booklet.

Here's a little book I made. The pages were made from one sheet of A4 card, cleverly folded and then a small piece of card for the cover.

I have used Tracy Easson Illustrations stamps from the "Angels of love & light" collection and also the Soul Whispers collections. The images have been coloured with watercolour paints. The backgrounds have been made with Caran D' Ache wax pastels.

Now don't laugh as this is the first video I have done but I hope you can see what I've designed. Plus I hope it's worked!!!

All of Tracy's stamp sets can be found in her Etsy shop here

Long time no blog & DT news

I haven't blogged for a long time. But now it's time to change all that , I was over the moon to be chosen to be on Tracy Easson Illustrations design team. Tracy has such beautiful stamps and they really inspired me to start getting messy with mixed media again.

We have a fab, friendly FB group where you can share all your Tracy Easson Illustrations makes and also find lots of inspiration. The group is called Friends of Tracy Easson Illustrations.

And the blog where you will find all the DT's projects and lots of inspiration is Tracy Easson

Tracy's Etsy shop where you can buy all the stamps and lots more is here.

Here are a few projects that I've made recently with Tracy's stamps.

Here I've used Morty & Margareeet Bottoms "It was written in the stars" set.

This plaque was made with "Love" from the Angels of love & light" collection.

Here's "Jamie... wild and free" from The Clan McQueen . I've used watercolours for this one.

Another one from the Angels of love & light collection called "Shine".

This is "Believe" from the Angels of love & light collection.

Here's "Faith" from the Angels of love & light collection.

And here is "Seamus is falling for you" from The Clan McGregor.

For this one I've used "Forever friend" from Just a Girl and her

I've also used Tracy's accent stamps on some of the projects from the Soul Whispers Collection - "Spread your wings", "Soul whispers", "Soul symbols" & "Love & light".

I hope you'll join me and be inspired on my journey with Tracy Easson's Illustrations collections.

Clearly Besotted:
Stamps: Treehouse Treasures
Stencils: A Little Bumpy

Time For Tea Designs:
Stencil: Scene It

I started off stamping the treehouse image onto card and then masking it so I could stencil the clouds with the a little bumpy stencil and tumbled glass ink. I then stencilled in the sun rays with mustard seed and finally the grass with bundled sage.
I then coloured the image with my illustrator pens.
Next I stamped and fussy cut the little critters and coloured them. I then adhered them to the image with 3D foam pads.
I die cut the frame and adhered it with 3D foam pads.
Then to finish off I added the sentiment.

Contrasting cards......Summer, Summer, Summertime..... and Merry Christmas

Happy Friday!
Today is the first day in a long while that here in Scotland we've had a nice sunny day. It's been non stop rain. Hence the bright Summer card. I made the Christmas card a few days ago but thought I'd do a contrast post for my blog.

So for my first card I have used all Clearly Besotted July kit except the circle frame.

Stamp sets:
Clearly Besotted: The Scene It Around II
                             All Four Seasons Hippos
                             Scene It Around Additions
Stencil:
Clearly Besotted: Small Scenes

Inks:
Memento: Tuxedo Black
Distress Oxides: Shabby Shutters

First I stamped out the little scene, "The scene it around II" winter stamp set and used a circle die to cut around it.
I then masked off everything but the sky which I stencilled with oxide inks. I then coloured the rest with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens and added a little glitter to the trees and the tops of the snow mounds. I then stamped and cut out the little hippos from the " All Four Seasons Hippos" set and also the cloud and lamppost from the "Scene it around additions" set. Again they were coloured with the Illustrator pens.
I cut a piece of white card and used the "Small Scenes" stencil from the July kit with shabby shutters distress oxide ink to make the tree banner across the middle of the card. I adhered it to my light green layer of card which was adhered to my card blank.
I then framed the stamped piece with the die cut and adhered it to the card with 3D foam pads.
I then stamped the merry christmas onto a piece of white card and adhered it to the bottom right of the card.
Just some clear drops from Time for tea designs to finish off.

For my Summer card I have used Clearly Besotted, Time For Tea and Spectrum Noir products.

Stamp sets:
Clearly Besotted: Summer Corners

Stencil:
T4T Designs: Tropic like its hot

Inks:
Distress Oxides: Shaded Lilac

Pens:
Spectrum Noir: Aqua pens

I made the background by using Spectrum Noir Aqua pens by just laying some of the ink down onto a glass mat and adding some water then smooshing them onto a piece of white watercolour card.
When it was dry I stencilled over it using T4T's "Tropic it like it's hot" stencil and Shaded Lilac distress oxide ink.
Next I stamped and cut out the Clearly Besotted's Summer Corners image and coloured it brightly with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. I also added some little highlights with a white pen.
I cut a piece of bright pink card and adhered it to a white blank card and then added the background piece.
The summer corner images were adhered with 3D foam pads.
I stamped out the sentiment from the kit onto white card and layered it up with the same pink card. Again I used 3D foam pads to adhere it.

There you go 2 contrasting cards. Hope the weather is nice where you are.

Happy crafting

Brand New Blog

Hi there

I've had several blogs over the years but have decided to start a new one as my style has changed somewhat over those years.
I am mainly into papercraft. This blog will show lots of cards, 3D projects, tags etc be it cute, mixed media etc. My favourite companies are Time For Tea Designs (which I am part of their DT), Clearly Besotted, Heffy Doodles and for mixed media Aall and Create.
I enjoy stamping, die cutting, messy art, using my Silhouette Cameo, Cricut and Scan n Cut. Over 20 years I have collected ALOT of crafty stash. 😉

I live in Scotland now and took early retirement so spend a lot of time crafting. I have 4 kids, 2 of which have flown the nest, an understanding hubby, a anti social cat and a mad lab retriever.

So if anyone actually visits 😊 I hope you enjoy my work and get some inspiration from my blogged projects.

Happy crafting!

Sharon
